Ingrid has her BFA and MA from Tufts University and Museum School.  Ingrid studied the history of art in college and graduate school. For 38 years she owned ARA Gallery in South Hamilton dealing in 19th and 20th century American art. Many of the artists she represented worked on Cape Ann, so Ingrid became well acquainted with North Shore and national artists. To keep connected with the art world after she closed the gallery and retired, Ingrid joined the first docent class at the Cape Ann Museum. Ingrid has led Highlights Tours and walking tours. She is a docent and a member of the acquisition committee for the Cape Ann Museum.
